Findmypast - the World Collection

Exactly what is happening at findmypast? The last couple of years have seen huge growth in multiple directions – in records from Australia and New Zealand, Ireland, America, in the original UK site itself and the launch of the British Newspaper Archives by brightsolid. All this means much better access to records for local and family historians and is very exciting to see. Where to now?

Central  Auckland Research Centre is a reference only library on the second floor of Central City Library, Auckland.

It holds the largest Family History collection in a New Zealand public library, and is considered to hold a collection of equivalent status nationally and internationally to the holdings within a National or State library.

It has held certification as a Family History Library from Family Search (LDS) since 2003.
