Megan Gibson
Like you, Megan Gibson thought she would never have time to
do her own family tree.
Despite starting to climb the family tree in her teens, and highly regarded in tv production and senior admin as a queen of organisation, persistence and detail, she still couldn’t find enough time for the most important research of all – her own family tree.
The death of an elderly relative, who Megan had always been meaning to contact, took many family stories to the grave. This was her wakeup call.
Drawing on years of practical experience organising hectic schedules and offices of senior executives as an in-demand Executive Assistant (including at the National Film & Sound Archive), as well as years honing task and time management in the crazy but lovable schedules of national tv productions, Megan started to apply her skills to get herself more family tree time.
As a freelance researcher on episodes of the hit Australian genealogy tv show, Who Do You Think You Are?, Megan works fast and smart to build, explore and be fascinated by the family trees of famous Australians.
Now, as a Researcher, Writer and family tree Coach with her own business, Family Tree Time, Megan’s passion is to help you beat the “I’m too busy” blues to start or progress with your family tree research
…before it’s too late.
