Records relating to the administration of the deceased person's estate may help fill in some of those frustrating gaps or inconsistencies on death certificates. These records include Probate Packets (generally containing the deceased's last will and testament); Deceased Estate files; Intestate Estate files. This talk will explain how to access these documents, demonstrate the type of information they contain for genealogists and provide tips and tactics for beginners as well as guidance for more experienced researchers. Chrisitine Yeats will be presenting.
