Celebrate our rich Yarra Valley heritage by joining a twilight guided tour of Lilydale Cemetery on Australia Day Wednesday, January 26.

Organised by members of the Lilydale & District Historical Society, the tour includes visits to the graves of those early pioneers who laid the foundations of our Yarra Valley and those who made the area famous such as Dame Nellie Melba and artist Blamire Young.

The tours start at 7pm. Meet the tour guides at the Victoria Rd entrance of the cemetery which is at the corner of Victoria and Nelsons roads, Lilydale.

The cost is $10.00 per person and includes a cemetery book.

As tours are limited to 20 people, bookings are essential and can be made by calling Lorraine Smith on 9735 1104.
