Come to a talk about how immigrants and their families arrived in Australia by assisted passage. Following WW11 the £10 pound fare offer was taken up by many Scots, British Isle subjects and Europeans. The talk will be by guest speaker, dedicated family & social historian, Ray Thorburn, OAM. To be held by Scottish House Australia at Granville Town Hall (main hall) 2pm Sat 14th March, 2015.  Doors open at 1.30pm with afternoon tea being served after the talk.
