Gail Davis from State records will speak at 11am then she will launch our new publication “District of Brisbane Water”-Bench books and Court Cases books 1&2: 1828-1874.

The Mayor Lawrie McKinna has accepted an invitation to be present on behalf of Gosford Council.

Following this a number of society members will present “potted yarns” looking at tales of research finds and / or brick walls they have struck in their searches.

There will be time to undertake guided tours of the centre and the extensive book store. The afternoon speaker Pat Kennedy will explore “Researching World War 1 soldiers” a most appropriate topic considering the Centenary in 2015.
