Presenters are Felicity Barry, Dr. Carol Liston and Lesley Muir.
Morning Sessions
Presentation on digitised sources of land information including:
- Land and Property Information Service
- National Library
- State Library
- Google Earth
- What is available
- How can you use the resources in research
Morning tea
Late Morning session
- Live demonstration using the web, of how to searth for information.
Lunch - provided - home made soup and fresh bread rolls
Afternoon
Help session for individual specific research problens (first 25 people to register):
- Problem solving session and practive for participants
- Limited to 25 people who have an interest in a specific research problem
- Participants for the afternoon session are encouraged to supply the presenters some of their questions in advance, so they can carry out some research themselves on how to find the information you want.
- The presenters can then work out any common themes and do some demonstrations that will address specific needs.
