Wednesday 8 February 2012, noon to 1pm
As part of our Waitangi Day celebrations, join Margaret Ngaropo at Central City Library to learn tips and tricks for researching your own whakapapa.
Traditional whakapapa is based on a strong oral tradition, while modern whakapapa relies on written documentation held in various formats in government departments, museums, archives and libraries. By delving into your ancestors' life stories, you can learn how they lived and what they believed.
