Doing family history research generates a huge amount of information, copies of certificates and other records. You can record all the data in your Family History program and even scan your documents and save them on your computer. But what do you with all the originals? It pays to have a system and it’s even better if this works well with how your information is recorded in your Family History program.
This 2 hour course by the Genealogical Society of Queensland provides you with the basics of a system which you can adapt to suit your own particular needs.
Bring notebook and pencil/pen.
Bookings essential to ensure sufficient copies of notes are available, phone GSQ on (07) 3891 5085.
Further details about the course available from Pauline Williams on pstirland@hotmail.com or gsq1@optusnet.com.au.
