Living Legacy Project - Changing the World One Story at a Time

The Living Legacy Project aims to save the living history of our time before the people who made it (our parents and grandparents) pass on. The Project is for people who are interested in gathering and preserving their family history as a legacy for the future as well as those who wish to take a more active role.

The Living Legacy Project has been developed by The International Association of StoryKeepers, (I-ASK) based in the United States in conjunction with members around the world. Annie Payne (History from the Heart) has been part of the development team for the past 3 years and is the Australian coordinator for this important initiative.

For those who would like to contribute and be rewarded for doing so, we currently building an “army” of trained Professional Legacy Advisors (PLAs) to motivate and inspire families and the community.

Not everyone will be suited to being a PLA but we anticipate those from a variety of professional backgrounds especially nursing, teaching and social work will have necessary skills to be successful. People with skills in legacy fields such as genealogy, photography and biography would also find the opportunity interesting as would the newly retired looking for something rewarding and worthwhile. If you are interested but cannot make the meeting please contact Annie by email or phone.

If you are interested in finding out more about how you can preserve the past, enrich the present and inspire the future then please come to this meeting. The cause transcends the financial rewards but there is the opportunity to earn additional income over time.
