GSQs flagship course—Introduction to Genealogy—is a full day course that provides participants with the foundations for undertaking research in this fascinating area. Topics to be covered include:
ü Introduction to Genealogy/Family History/GSQ | ü Civil Registration (births, marriages and deaths) |
ü Census records | ü Parish Registers |
ü Immigration | ü Help and guidance |
The presenters focus on Australia, UK, Ireland, and Scotland but are able to provide guidance on researching in other regions.
