Just about every Family Historian researcher at some time or other has used the genealogy website Ancestry.com as a matter or course in their research. So what is Ancestry.com and how can it benefit you in your research?

Ancestry is the favourite research tool used with the family history programs such as Legacy and Family Tree Maker, two of the most used programs by our members, and finding one’s way around the webpage can be a little daunting for the novice at first.

The discussion will show how to take full advantage of the website, and hear some of Ivan’s success stories how he has used Ancestry.com to help others with their research.

This should be a very helpful night for everyone interested in Family History research and using the internet.

There will be special raffle draw with first prize consisting of a subscription to Ancestry.com and valued at $179.40, thanks to Ancestry.com.au

Everything needed to get you started in discovering your roots and the families that went before.

Tea, coffee, and refreshments are provided.
