The South of England Special Interest Group of The Heraldry & Genealogy Society of Canberra Inc covers Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Cornwall, Devon, Dorset, Gloucester, Hampshire (including Isle of White), Oxfordshire, Scilly & Channel Isles, Somerset, Sussex, Wiltshire, Surrey and Kent (only those parts of the latter two counties not known as Greater London, which is covered by the London Special Interest Group).  


The Group meets on the second Wednesday of March, May, July, September and November (ie, each odd month except January).


At the meeting of the Special Interest Group on Wednesday 14 September 2011 the topic will be:  Cornish mining.
