Michael Gandy:  Evening Seminar

 

 

The Heraldry & Genealogy Society of Canberra (HAGSOC) will be hosting a special evening seminar with England’s premier genealogist, Michael Gandy, on Wednesday 7 November  2012 at 7.15 pm for 7.30 pm at the Canberra Irish Club, 6 Parkinson Street, Weston ACT 2611.  The evening program will be as follows:

- English Records for Irish Research

- Coffee Break

- Tithes and Taxes

- Q & A QSession.

 

Michael Gandy is the editor of the “Genealogist”, the magazine of the Society of Genealogists (UK).

 

The cost is $30 for HAGSOC members and $40 for non-members.  Pre-bookings via email to registration@hagsoc.org.au.

 

The Heraldry & Genealogy Society of Canberra Inc was founded in 1964 ‘to promote and encourage the study and preservation of family history, genealogy, heraldry and allied subjects, and to assist members and others in research in these areas.’  The Society is run entirely by volunteers, who give generously of their time, expertise and goodwill to provide a service for all members.
