Marci Despain CGSM AG® graduated from Brigham Young University (BYU) in 2005 with a BA in Family History – emphasis in British Isles Research.

She is credentialed as a Certified GenealogistSM (CGSM) and an Accredited Genealogist® (AG®) in England Research.

In 2003, Marci completed an internship in Trowbridge, Wiltshire, England at the Wiltshire Record Office.

She is currently a British Research Consultant in the Family History Library and is a professional researcher with 10 years of experience. She has spent the past 6 years working with and teaching FamilySearch and FamilySearch products.
