This year Central City Library continues to offer its free family history lunchtime series designed to introduce you to the enormous range of researching tools and technologies available at Auckland City Libraries. The workshops are held every second Wednesday until the end of October, and focus on family and local history topics.

Geraldine O'Reilly shows how to use a variety of resources to obtain an understanding of Ireland’s unique land administration records, including the use of Gazetteers, O.S. Maps and Parish maps. Use of these records will enable you to build a framework that will assist in locating your Ancestors.
