Set within the re-created Jacobi house building in State Library of Queensland’s ‘Hot Modernism’ exhibition, this special event brings together the different generations of people who resided in this modernist masterpiece.

Involving the original visionary builders, Joan Jacobi and her son Jason, previous owner Malcolm Elliott and present-day owners Amanda Baxter and Ken Peterson, this event offers an intimate insight into the stories behind the Jacobi house, one of Brisbane’s most iconic mid-century houses.

Come early for a free ‘Hot Modernism’ exhibition tour with guest architect John Railton (bookings required).
