Prof Graeme Davison will be the guest Speaker at the Essendon Historical Society's 40th anniversary dinner meeting on Tuesday 24 th August 2010, 6.30pm.

All old Essendonians are invited to come along, help celebrate the anniversary, enjoy a fine meal, renew friendships and hear a fascinating speaker.

Prof Davison is the Sir John Monash Distinguished Professor of History at Monash University and the author of The rise and Fall of Marvellous Melbourne and Car Wars. Graeme grew up in  Essendon and went to school at Aberfeldie Primary and Essendon High. His parents George and May were both involved in the EHS 1979-1992.
The dinner will  be held in a Keilor Rd function centre.

Three course meal $30, drinks at bar prices.
