History seminars have been held in association with South Australia's Kernewek Lowender since 1991. The Kernewek Lowender is held in the 'Copper Coast' towns of Kadina, Moonta and Wallaroo every second year and is a celebration of Cornish culture. The theme of the seminar for 2011 is 'The Ingenious Cornish: Inventions, Enterprises and Exploits'.
