The Mount Pleasant District History Room was created to house a collection of material that had been collected for the writing of the local history book, "The Quiet Waters By", by Reg Butler.  This paper collection of newspaper cuttings, photographs and the like, has been the base of the collection, but has grown since the opening of the Room.  The History Room is supported by the Mount Pleasant Soldiers Memorial Hall and Main Street Committee, which is a Section 41 committee of the Barossa Council.

Projects

We are researching and collecting information, photograph, and film footage,to produce an oral history DVD
