International Heraldic Art
International Heraldic Art is Australia's leading home grown heraldic and name research business. Established in 1982, this Melbourne based, family owned business has provided heraldic products and name researches to both those interested in family history, and also to many institutions. Our hand painted coats of arms decorate the halls of many of Australia's leading schools, and also hang in the medieval style Cripps Room of Trinity College, Melbourne University. The present millenium has brought with it new technology in the compilation of heraldic works, but many of our art graphic coats of arms are enhanced by hand painting in the traditional matter. Pauline Eastwood, co proprietor and artist, is carrying on the traditions of her grandfather, William Gordon Steeles, who was an heraldic artist in Adelaide in the early 1900's and won medals for his work in the field at that time.
