Here are the results of our 28th Unlock the Past poll - What Welsh counties do you have ancestors from - or research interests in? Votes were cast by 228 people. The results are summarised in the table below.
A substantially higher percent of people voting (15.8%) had no Welsh research interests. This compares to just 2.5% for Scotland and 2.0% for Ireland. The most common counties people were researching were Glamorgan (31.6%) and Monmouthshire (26.8%) - all the other counties scored less than the percentage who had no Welsh interests.
